AGHHHH

OK- Blogger friends. I'm having a moment.

Between my other, better, oh-so-much-more stylish blog, www.styleblueprint.com, and summer, and 3 kids, and packing for 2 for overnight camp, and being flooded with requests to highlight stores all over Nashville, I decided that sleep was optional. This is not good. Did I mention the two wasp stings that have puffed my right index finger up to three times its normal size. Or that my middle child shattered her two front teeth two weeks ago? Both my pets have had surgery this month.

SUMMER. It's killing me. And the fact that it is killing me is killing me more. I love summer and I love my kids. Right now, I don't like me.

HOW does one handle a start-up business at home, in a home office that has no walls and is contained in a computer armoire in the middle of a family room without going nuts? I feel like a bad mom and wife constantly. Do you know the number of times a day I scream, er say "Pretend I have walls!

OK- I've said it. I've ranted. Back to work.

We Won!

Style Blueprint, which I write with Elizabeth Fox won for Best Blog in Nashville at the Toast of Music City Awards by the Nashville paper The Tennessean! WOW...I did not expect that!

Style Conversations

So, I'm giggling that after 18 months of blogging at my blog www.styleblueprint.com, I can't quite figure out blogger! One day, I will be a blog whiz. In the meantime, this blog will a behind the scenes look into my first blog which I write with Elizabeth Fox. I will grapple over pictures and posts and probably post a lot of things which I just adore, but can't post about within the confines of blog #1.

The exciting this about blog #1 is that we really are hoping to be #1 in Nashville's newspaper, The Tennessean. We know we have qualified as a top 3 for the Best Blog award for 2010, but we find out Thursday night where we placed! Fingers crossed....

Our post tomorrow on StyleBlueprint is about DIY Herbal Infused Water. I've been trying hard to take better pictures and the pictures of the water here are mine. I give them a B, perhaps B+. But I'm learning. Here is sneak peek at one of my pictures:
